Ghislaine Torres – Serial Board Member

After a PhD in Polymer Chemistry, Ghislaine Torres worked for 20 years in the industry at Rhône Poulenc/Rhodia

In 2005, she took over (in a 50/50 partnership) an SME with 30 employees in the non-woven industry. With her partner they made an external growth in 2010, managing a company of 100 people with a turnover of 10 M€.

In 2016 she sold her shares in the company.

INVESTMENTS et CONSULTING

Since then, she has managed her own assets and is involved in a number of entrepreneurial associations, particularly in support of the cause of gender equality in the economy.

Chislaine accompanies women entrepreneurs, takes care of the mentors and the training programmes of the incubator Les Premières,

Head of the Lyon branch of Femmes Business Angels, the 4th largest network of BAs in France

Member of the Investment Committee of a new investment fund, WinEquity, which invests in startups owned by mixed teams

Ghislaine Torres runs several workshops on business takeovers at CRA (Cédants et Repreneurs d’Affaires).

She is on the Board of Directors of several associations (Les Premières, FBA, La Fondation pour L’université de Lyon) and is a member of the Supervisory Board of two successful Lyon-based SMEs

Ghislaine Torres is Jury Member at MY PITCH IS GOOD.

She will be helping entrepreneurs attending the START-UP GOLF CHALLENGE of Grenoble. Ghislaine follows with interest Applications on MY PITCH IS GOOD.
